Fridenmaker App Privacy Policy
Effective: July 16, 2026
The Fridenmaker app is the internal business-management application of Fridenmaker Painting (Seattle, WA), used by our employees and office staff. This policy describes what the app collects and how it is used.
Who Uses This App
The app is for Fridenmaker Painting employees. Signing in requires an account we create for you.
What We Collect
- Account information: your name, work email address, and login session.
- Work records you create: schedules, time entries, tasks, notes, estimates, and messages related to jobs.
- Photos: job-site photos you take or attach, stored with the job they belong to.
- Audio: meeting and estimate-visit recordings you deliberately start, with an on-screen indicator and a visible notification while recording. Recordings are transcribed to support job records.
- Device information needed for notifications: a push-notification token for your device.
What We Do NOT Collect
The app does not track your location in the background, does not collect data while you are not signed in, does not show ads, and does not sell or share personal information with third parties for marketing.
How Data Is Used
Solely to run Fridenmaker Painting’s business: scheduling crews, documenting jobs, preparing estimates, communicating with customers, and payroll-related time records.
Service Providers
Data is processed by the infrastructure we use to run the app: our own servers (DigitalOcean), Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (delivery of push notifications), and transcription and email delivery providers acting on our instructions. All transfers are encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS).
Retention and Deletion
Work records are retained as business records. To request deletion of your personal data (for example, after leaving the company), contact [email protected] or (206) 202-6212.
Offline Storage
Some of your day’s work data is stored on your device so the app works without signal. It is removed when you sign out.
