Getting Started
How do I get an estimate?
Contact us through our website, give us a call at (206) 202-6212, or send us an email. We will schedule a convenient time to visit your home, discuss your project, and provide a detailed written estimate — typically within 2-3 business days.
Is the estimate free?
Yes. We provide complimentary on-site estimates for all residential projects. There is no obligation.
How far in advance should I schedule?
We recommend reaching out 4-6 weeks before your desired start date, especially during our busy season (May through October). For larger projects, 2-3 months of lead time ensures the best scheduling flexibility.
What areas do you serve?
We serve the greater Seattle and Puget Sound area, including Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond, Sammamish, Mercer Island, Woodinville, Bothell, Issaquah, and surrounding neighborhoods.
Our Process
What does your preparation process include?
Thorough preparation is the foundation of a lasting paint job. Depending on the project, this includes pressure washing, scraping, sanding, caulking, patching, priming, and protecting floors, furniture, and landscaping. We never skip steps.
What brands of paint do you use?
We primarily use Benjamin Moore and Sherwin-Williams premium product lines. We will recommend the right product, sheen, and formula for your specific surfaces and conditions.
Do you offer color consultation?
Yes. We can help guide your color selections and will always provide test samples on your actual surfaces so you can see how colors look in your specific lighting conditions before we begin.
How do you protect my home during the project?
We use drop cloths, plastic sheeting, and painter-grade masking to protect all surfaces not being painted. Furniture is moved or covered. At the end of each day, we clean up the work area.
Pricing & Payment
What affects the cost of a painting project?
The main factors are square footage, surface condition (how much prep is needed), number of colors, ceiling height, trim complexity, and material selections. We provide transparent, itemized estimates so you know exactly what you are paying for.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes, we require a deposit to secure your spot on our schedule. The balance is due upon completion and your satisfaction with the work.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept checks, credit cards, and bank transfers.
During Your Project
Do I need to be home during the project?
Not necessarily. Many of our clients provide access and go about their day. We will coordinate access details and keep you updated on progress via text or email.
How long does a typical project take?
A single room typically takes 1-2 days. A full interior can take 5-10 business days. Exteriors vary from 3-10 days depending on size and condition. We will provide a specific timeline with your estimate.
What if it rains during an exterior project?
We monitor weather closely and plan accordingly. Exterior work requires dry conditions and temperatures above 50 degrees Fahrenheit. Rain days may extend the timeline, but we will never compromise quality by painting in poor conditions.
Will there be strong paint odors?
Modern premium paints are low-VOC and have minimal odor. We also ensure proper ventilation during and after painting. Most clients find the smell dissipates within a day or two.
After Your Project
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes. We stand behind our work. Specific warranty terms are included with your estimate and contract.
How should I maintain my new paint job?
For interior walls, use a damp cloth to clean marks and scuffs. For exterior surfaces, an annual inspection for any cracking or peeling helps catch small issues before they grow. We are happy to provide touch-up guidance specific to your project.
Can you come back for touch-ups?
Absolutely. We keep records of all colors and products used on your project. If you need touch-ups or additional work down the road, we are just a phone call away.
